HOW BERT SOLD OVER $24,900 WORTH OF MEAL PACKAGES WITH A $2,500 AD BUDGET

As customers of the Brown Dog Cafe were still hesitant to dine-in during Q1 of 2021, BERT pushed an alternative means of revenue for their demographically older customer base. With a limited ad spend budget, BERT drove over $24,000 worth of meal package sales by utilizing digital marketing techniques such as social advertising, email marketing, website banners, and messenger marketing.

 

Facebook Ads

The first step in spreading the word was to inform the existing Brown Dog Cafe customer base that they were now offering meal packages. Secondly, we informed the surrounding Blue Ash community at large. These were weekend meal packages meant to feed a few people in one sitting, so folks were inclined to enjoy weekend activities without leaving the house.

Email Marketing

The next step involved sending out an email to existing customers who have opted in over the years. Customers were able to click images and buttons that led them directly to a checkout page to order.

Website Promotion

The final stage involved utilizing marketing tools within the website environment. The Brown Dog receives thousands of monthly hits, so we were able to capitalize on the traffic that was making their way there for various other reasons and convert them into a sale.

RESULTS

What resulted from our efforts was an enormous amount of meal package orders.

During Q1 of 2021, 324 orders were received and over $24,000 of new revenue was generated.
